Knockout Trailer/Poster for 'The Philly Kid'

This will be a hit. Simple, focused, well-cut. Tight. Great forward energy.

Here's the logline from IMDb:

  • A former NCAA champion wrestler is paroled after 10 years in prison. Now, to save a friend's life, in a series of cage fights he must agree to do the impossible - lose.
A gem of a concept. Has a hook. Built-in backstory. Empathy for the protagonist pre-installed. People will respond.

Trailer is beautifully edited. So crisp. Somebody believed in this movie.

Poster is excellent. These guys did a great job. Thematic and direct. No wasted energy.

Everything about the campaign for 'The Philly Kid' is as efficient as...well...you'd have to be in the ring.

Written and directed by total newbies, Adam Mervis and Jason Connery, this puts big-budget studio silliness to shame.

An absolute knockout. Nice nice nice. Wow. Totally fucking wow. Perfect.
