Canon 1DC and C500 to Shoot 4K Video

The Canon 1DC (top) and C500 will debut at NAB 2012 and will feature the ability to shoot 4K video.

The currently available 1DX and C300 shoot 1080p. 

The new bodies, effectively, represent Canon's entry into the pro video/movie field, and will offer Hollywood an option to the RED system, as well as others.

The bodies will sell for $15,000 and $30,000 respectively.
