John Carpenter handles the technical side pretty well. Editing is especially tight, making a complex scene easy to follow. You see the scare coming a mile away but there's a second layer that makes it work -- at least work better than you'd expect.

Still not sure what to make of this. Must have been made on a trim budget, so will probably be successful on the business side. Nothing I've seen yet quite hooks me. Clip is pretty good, though. Hard to deny that.
