The synopsis for Darren Aronofsky's 'Black Swan' reads like a seasonal rundown for a bad soap opera, but 'The Wrestler' was so good, you have to hold out hope.
The cast is spectacular: Winona Ryder, Vincent Cassel, Barbara Hershey, Natalie Portman.
Winona Ryder, at age 38, playing a prima ballerina is a must-see, as is Portman taking a turn as a dancer.
