From the Studio That Brought you The Departed?
At the 1:13 mark in the trailer for 'The Town' comes the announcement that the movie is from the studio that brought you 'The Departed'. Otherwise known as Warner Bros.
Is this what movie marketing has come to? Warner releases thousands of titles. How is it that one of them was 'The Departed' relate to 'The Town'? Both are crime flicks? Is Warner Bros. an expert studio in this genre because it has released a crime movie before? Is it because both movies are set in Boston? Is that a selling point? We made one good movie in Boston so this one must be good too? Both titles contain the word 'The'?
I don't get it.
Otherwise, Ben Affleck's new directorial effort is very nice looking.
