Poor sound editing, aspect ratio looks off (if that's conceivable), utilitarian photography with camera placement that always an inch or two off, harsh lighting balance, clunky editing combined with strange choices in blocking. Directed by first-timer Michele Taverna, who served as executive producer on the Japanese original.
Based on the Japanese film of the same title from 2007 directed by Ataru Oikawa who did 'Tomie' which got some good press. An effective trailer, good direction/camera/lighting. This is probably the version to see.
