Trailer for 'Silent House'

In case you don't know, this is a remake of 'La Casa Muda', a Uruguayan movie reputed to have been shot in one continuous take on a Canon 5D SLR. I had my doubts because the logistics would have been tortuous. You just couldn't handle make-up (increasing amounts of blood on the girl's clothes) and hit all your marks at the right time making sure no crew members got in the shots, in bad light, all in one 80-minute take shot all through an old house. But, whatever... That's what they claimed. The flick got good reviews and now we have a Hollywood remake with Elizabeth Olson.

Originally, I didn't think much but have to admit the trailer for the remake looks pretty good. The quote from John Horn that's cited is pretty funny, though -- "Presented as one single film take..." Presented as? I know that would be tense, if it played like one long take, but just how do you do that? Is he saying it appears as if there are few or no cuts? I gotta see that. The trailer, however, is as jump-cutty as you can get.

Here's a (red band) trailer for the original which, typical for Euro and foreign films, has a charm and breathes in a way Hollywood movies can't match.
