Sorry, but the message encoded within this graphic is pretty clear: 'Apollo 18 is bad even for a B-movie'. We get it. If you still want to see the movie after this poster you're unlikely to be able to tell what you're watching stinks and will tell all your dumbass friends they'll love it and, as such, word-of-mouth on this flick will be great.
And, that plot. There's something I just don't get. The synopsis says:
Decades-old found footage from NASA's abandoned Apollo 18 mission, where two American astronauts were sent on a secret expedition, reveals the reason the U.S. has never returned to the moon.
Found footage from an abandoned mission to the moon? Where'd they find the film? On the moon? Who found it on the moon? Thought we didn't go back after 18. Or...did the film return to Earth in a capsule all by itself? Nobody's flying the spaceship yet it manages to return the footage so it can be 'found'? And, if one of the astronauts survived and flew the film back, why then would it be referred to as 'found footage'? Isn't that kind of a kick in the teeth? "Hey thanks surviving astronaut for returning this valuable 'found footage' to NASA."
Was sorta kinda looking forward to this movie, but...um...not so much anymore.
