A few weeks ago we got the first trailer for this flick and, watching it the first time, I was sure it was B-schlock no budget exploitation horror. Just came off a bit cheap, too easy. But, had to watch again, and, next time through I started seeing some potential. Seemed smart, knowing, crafted. I put it on the 'wait and see' list.
'The Woman', directed by Lucky McKee, has gotten some nice reviews. Here's the first poster. Well done. Lotta confidence. Good signs all around. Nice rollout so far. We may have a horror cult fave and, perhaps, a box office success.
