Apple is running a beautiful new trailer. One of the best I've seen. Chilling. (Yes I mean that). Why can't Hollywood do this kind of thing. (Not too enthused about the remake 'Silent House').
If you haven't heard, this is one of the new features shot on a DSLR, in this case a Canon 5D II. I've commented a few times about the opportunities this offers filmmakers working on a budget.
Technically, the trailer looks great. Working in low light you just can't get results like this shooting film, and if you try it costs a fortune with all the lighting, crew and setup time. DSLRs and online distribution may change the game.
