Trailer is excellent. Poster is good but keeps going past where it's effective. The shoes don't need to be included.
That the guy has to make a decision about the use of the gun is implicit. This would be a central dilemma. His hand reaching to accept the weapon isn't needed.
Beer can be included in another way, assuming some alcohol-fueled event is a turning point.
These elements distract viewer, dilute focus. Heavy brown/sepia tone doesn't work either -- totally clashes with setting/plot. Should be a cooler look or black and white.
