'Breaking and Entering'

Poster, not that great. Title, cute but doesn't mean much unless you already know what the movie is about. Nonetheless, 'Breaking and Entering', a documentary by Benjamin Fingerhut, about people attempting to break existing records and enter the Guinness Book of World Records, sounds like fun. In his blurb at NYT, Mike Hale calls it, "a brisk and absorbing tour of the human ego."

Doc follows three (main) characters -- a grape catcher, stationary cyclist, and marathon joggler. Other efforts to get into the record books are tracked to a lesser extent -- a whip-cracker, finger snapper, concrete block breaker, and phone book ripper (hence the imagery in the poster).

The kind of flick I like from time to time. Will check it out.
