Some actors are romantic leads, some dramatic. Some do comedy, some action. Christian Bale has carved out an unusual niche (albeit a very thin one) as the go-to guy for roles that require extreme weight loss. He was scary psycho-thin in 'The Machinist' and he's scary POW-thin in 'Rescue Dawn'. Hmm...
