Movies About Spy's Death Planned
UGO reports on the various projects planned about the life and death of former KGB and FSB operative Alexander Litvinenko, who died November 1, 2006 as a result of polonium-210 radiation poisoning. Warner Bros. is currently developing two projects based on books about Litvinenko: Sasha's Story: The Life and Death of a Russian Spy by Alan Cowell, NYT London Bureau Chief (being produced by Johnny Depp), and Blowing Up Russia, co-written by Litvinenko (being produced by John Malkovich).
