International Poster for 'Apollo 18'
I made plenty fun of the silly/embarrassing US poster.
Here's a pretty cool Asian (not sure which language that is) poster that puts ours to shame.

'Apollo 18' Viral Site
The site for regular civilians is here. They've got a very nice way hi-rez trailer. Nothing special.
But, the site for those in the know is here. There you can read all kinds of secret docs related to the Apollo 18 mission. Password: surveillance
Here's a couple:
Some redacted sections, sure. To be expected. For the latest dumbass poster for this movie, go here.

New Poster for 'Apollo 18' Confirms a Lot
And, just what's the 'reason we've never gone back to the moon'? All the astronauts were having tizzy fits whenever they got inverted? Being upside-down made them scream, and scream, and scream until they were worthless and we had to ditch the entire Apollo program? Is that the reason?
Sorry, but the message encoded within this graphic is pretty clear: 'Apollo 18 is bad even for a B-movie'. We get it. If you still want to see the movie after this poster you're unlikely to be able to tell what you're watching stinks and will tell all your dumbass friends they'll love it and, as such, word-of-mouth on this flick will be great.
And, that plot. There's something I just don't get. The synopsis says:
Decades-old found footage from NASA's abandoned Apollo 18 mission, where two American astronauts were sent on a secret expedition, reveals the reason the U.S. has never returned to the moon.
Found footage from an abandoned mission to the moon? Where'd they find the film? On the moon? Who found it on the moon? Thought we didn't go back after 18. Or...did the film return to Earth in a capsule all by itself? Nobody's flying the spaceship yet it manages to return the footage so it can be 'found'? And, if one of the astronauts survived and flew the film back, why then would it be referred to as 'found footage'? Isn't that kind of a kick in the teeth? "Hey thanks surviving astronaut for returning this valuable 'found footage' to NASA."
Was sorta kinda looking forward to this movie, but...um...not so much anymore.

Trailer for 'Apollo 18'
Just about the same as first one. Some new footage toward the end.
I'm getting the feeling audiences aren't going to bite

'Apollo 18'
Really, this is just another low-budget horror. One location, very few actors, some device that allows you to get away with lower production value (here, the 70s hand-held film look). In the vein of 'Elevator', 'Devil', and 'Buried'.
Trailer looks good, getting lots of embeds. Should make gobs.
