The Killer Inside Me

Player will show here

This looks like some new footage and a fresh cut trailer. As I've said, it's Casey Affleck's eyes -- he is possessed by the character. I love that kind of acting.

The Killer Inside Me

It's getting to the point where everything Casey Affleck is in is a must-see. It's his eyes, I think. The way they belong to the character he is portraying.

Kate Hudson and Jessica Alba never seemed more on. And, this poster...

Crazy Trailer

Not sure what to make of this quite yet. Looks good, though.

Biutiful First Look

I'll admit I don't usually go for this kind of work but I couldn't take my eyes off this trailer. Will be there.

Iron Sky

Here's the latest trailer that I'm aware of.

This is from a couple years ago. Must see.

Bad Playback

Well, I have to retract my 'discovery' that the hi-def trailer for 'The Invasion' is different from the standard version. It's not. They're the same. The hammer appears in both versions but is less clear and partially blocked by pixilation in the freeze-frame from the standard trailer. (Also, the frame itself is tougher to capture in the standard trailer -- you tend to land on the frame before or after. The frames that I used for comparison are not the same). My apologies. You learn something everyday...

The Missing Hammer

The Invasion still with hammer

So, I'm looking at the below still from the trailer for 'The Invasion' and I'm thinking 'What's wrong here?'. Turns out the business end of the hammer is missing. Above still is from the hi-def version -- which looks a lot better -- sorry, don't know what I was thinking.

Here is the same still from the standard definition trailer:

Standard definition still without hammer

It's interesting that different versions of trailers are being released based on their definition. Are people that select regular definition trailers more sensitive to violence or graphic content? I've never heard of this before. You learn something everyday...

The Hook

The Invasion with Nicole Kidman

Trailer for 'The Invasion' looks good. I imagine everyone will be talking about the above element.

Pan's Labyrinth Isn't Just For Kids

Pan's Labyrinth
If you haven't seen a trailer for "Pan's Labyrinth" yet, you may want to have a look. This is a disturbing movie from a director who had a disturbing childhood (see Anne Thompson's piece on Guillermo del Toro). PL is not just pretty pictures (in fact I'm not even sure children should watch this one) -- this movie has strong social commentary and some very graphic sequences. Apple.com has a beautiful hi-def trailer.

23

Jim Carrey has a psych-thriller coming out called "The Number 23". The trailer is one of the most intriguing I've ever seen.

Official site -- one of the best I've ever seen.
