'H+' Web-Only Digital Series Rollout

Thing is, this is produced by Bryan Singer (The Usual Suspects), which is good but the real thing is it's backed by Warner Bros. which I don't think has happened before. Not really. If a studio has been involved in a web-only series before they were once-removed and didn't put their name/logo on the property. At least I don't remember seeing that. So, this looks like an evolution.

Here's the Facebook page, YouTube channel, and Twitter feed.

Series starts August 8 with new episodes Wednesday.

Movies About Spy's Death Planned

UGO reports on the various projects planned about the life and death of former KGB and FSB operative Alexander Litvinenko, who died November 1, 2006 as a result of polonium-210 radiation poisoning. Warner Bros. is currently developing two projects based on books about Litvinenko: Sasha's Story: The Life and Death of a Russian Spy by Alan Cowell, NYT London Bureau Chief (being produced by Johnny Depp), and Blowing Up Russia, co-written by Litvinenko (being produced by John Malkovich).

Variety reports Columbia has purchased the rights to Death of a Dissident co-written by Marina Litvinenko. Michael Mann is attached to direct and the book will contain first-hand information about Litvinenko's life and career.
