'Let Me In' Poster

Above poster for 'Let Me In' leaves me cold. Does not compare to the poster for the Swedish original 'Let the Right One In' below.

In the poster for the American remake there is the implication of danger in the woods. This is not really what the movie is about. The theme has more to do with hidden identity (and a sense of shame in what one is) and longing for companionship, which the original poster deals with much more directly.

I like how the girl leaves no tracks in the snow, though.

NYT has an exclusive clip from 'Let The Right One In'. Scene has that delicate subtle layering that, for the most part, Hollywood isn't able to produce. I don't have high hopes for the remake that's underway.

Rotten Tomatoes has the red band trailer for 'Let The Right One In'. I'm not sure if this trailer is any different than the most recent one. I think it's got maybe a couple seconds more graphic stuff but I can't be sure without checking. Rather than doing that I'm just posting it. I like this picture that much.

Cool Trailer, Cool Poster

When I first saw the trailer for 'Let The Right One In' I knew I had found a special movie. As is so often the case with such projects, everything about it is special, including the poster. This looks like a winner.
