Okay... Did not know you could have such a thing for this movie, but here it is. The 'red band' trailer.

New Clip from 'Don't be Afraid of the Dark'
You can see this coming a mile away but, still, it delivers. Nice camera, lighting, design. Of course, that's to be expected from a Guillermo del Toro
production.
Kids will love this -- so will their parents.

Text-Centric Poster for 'Don't be Afraid of the Dark' Makes me Afraid of Posters
What a major step backward. After the last couple posters? This is a creepshow for kids, right? A haunted house movie? Not an adaptation of a novel about...writing, or a documentary about the advent of calligraphy and typesetting, yes?
That's painful. Give us more posters with that girl coming down the stairs. That works. They were going somewhere with that theme.

'Don't be Afraid of the Dark' Poster
Even more effective than the last one. We're getting a theme here -- the girl starts at top of stairs, then comes down (with camera), then...what happens next. Great concept for a series of posters.
My only criticism is the boilerplate text over image of girl should be moved down (and not sure why the shadow of the banister is included. Doesn't contribute and interferes with the ghoul arms). Otherwise, creepy with a sense of character and plot throughline. Nice.

'Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark' Poster
Effective. Creepy in a way kids will appreciate. Hands reaching up are a bit hokey, yet eerie at the same time. Child coming downstairs conveys a vulnerability all children know.
Nice one sheet. Certain to be one of the best this year.
