Schmoes Know Review 'Captain America'
You know, for a movie like this, these guys are pretty much go-to. You want intellectual, you want tension-filled wordy analysis of how 'Captain America' affects movie making and society and the future of mankind, there's other places to try. But, you wanna know whether a summer popcorn flick is worth your time -- the Schmoes are pretty reliable.

The Designs of Daniel Simon
In the interview below Joe Johnston mentions designer Daniel Simon. This is the guy that did the light cycle for 'Tron: Legacy'.
For 'Captain America' Johnston asked Simon to come up with vehicles that represented a '40s futurism'. That is, stuff with a look that would have been considered futuristic to people in the 1940s. Here's a look at Simon's design for Hydra's submarine:
That thing is beautiful, repellent, and dangerous looking all at the same time.

I think Simon's designs pretty much fit the bill.

Simon is doing designs for 'Oblivion' which is looking promising. Tom Cruise is set to star.

'Captain America' Cast Interview
Not sure the interviewer's name, but he does a good job. Has a natural enthusiasm. Doesn't suck up to movie stars. People respond in a level-headed way. Comments aren't standard fluff. Has a conversational tone.
Especially good insight from director Joe Johnston. Worth a look. A few seconds new footage at end.

Another Good Poster for 'Captain America'
The materials for this movie have been excellent. Trailers have played great. Especially liked the retro 'punching Hitler' poster. Here's another good graphic, this time it's a French one sheet. Beautiful, punchy color, perfect composition, appropriate 'comic-book' energy without being over-the-top or cheesy.

Watch Captain America put his hat on then go Inside. Duh
Seriously, someone needs to watch for stuff like this. When in uniform the headwear (automatically, as a reflex) is removed when entering a building.
