(Producer's write up):

This was shot at ISO 5000 in natural light, and has been compressed for the web. Notice the low noise levels, as well as the absence of jello effect, moire and aliasing.

Shot on Canon EOS 5D Mark III with EF 16-35 f/2.8L, EF 70-200 f/2.8L IS lenses and the Kessler Philip Bloom Signature Series Pocket Dolly.

'Eye of the Mind' Shot on a Canon 5D Mark III

I went with 'Mario & Nette' to showcase the Canon 5D III because it seemed the more cinematic choice. But, giving 'Eye of the Mind' another look -- it's just too good not to post.

They used a lot of primes for this one whereas in 'Mario & Nette' it's mostly zooms.

'Mario & Nette' Shot on the Canon 5D III

Canon's 5D Mark II has been used to shoot a bunch of Hollywood movies including 'Act of Valor', 'Rubber', bits of 'Captain America' and 'Iron Man', 'Like Crazy' (Canon 7D), 'Red State' (7D),  and '127 Hours'.

It's got great image quality and, especially with Canon lenses, produces a slightly cool/neutral color balance, which is perfect -- at least as a starting point -- for most movies.

Canon is releasing their new 5D Mark III this month. Here's a sample video.
