Based On A True Story, Looks Good

I like the vibe of 'The Frozen Ground'. Based on the killings by Robert Hansen who, many feel, kidnapped women, released them in the Alaskan forest, and hunted them with a rifle.

Nicolas Cage is the detective with John Cusack as Hansen. Yes, it's got the makings of a standard police procedural but it doesn't play that way. Both Cage and Cusack are engaged. Perhaps their performances are fueled by the fact this is a true story but, whatever the reason, 'The Frozen Ground' doesn't come off by-the-numbers.

I'm feeling it. I'll see this.
