International Eye Candy

New poster. 'Laisse-Moi Entrer'...sounds way better than 'Let Me In'.

'Certified Copy'

Great still from 'Certified Copy' with Juliette Binoche and William Shimell. The title refers to the nature of the relationship between the two leads when they are mistaken for a married couple. When they play along with the assumption, is their role playing real or a copy?

I love these alleys and narrow roads that wend their way through Tuscan cities. Love the food, love the wine too. Should go. Till I do, will have to settle for linguini fini al pomodoro and a hearty super-Tuscan while watching movies like this.

Jackboots on Whitehall

Here's a still from 'Jackboots on Whitehall', a puppet movie about an alternate universe where the Nazis successfully invaded England. With what looks like a trebuchet and weapons from the 1800s? Okay...

With the voices of Ewan McGregor as a soldier, Tom Wilkinson as Goebbels, and Alan Cumming as Hitler.

Another Great Poster for 'Black Dynamite'

Why 'Black Dynamite' didn't do better I don't know. Maybe it'll get a wider release in the US sometime. It's doing pretty well internationally.

Paintings by Bob Dylan

40 pieces by Bob Dylan make their debut at the National Gallery of Denmark Friday.
